Chinese brush painting - Fish
Demonstration in Tuesday's evening class in Confucius Institute Edinburgh: fish is a popular subject in Chinese painting. A Chinese legend says "a fish can jump over a gate and turn into a dragon", meaning it can overcome any obstacles in it's way. in Buddhism, the fish symbolises happiness and freedom.
